The layout appears to have changed (again)! Who knows, maybe some day I'll be able to stick with one template. Maybe it's this one. Maybe it'll be the next one. All I know is that right now, this one looks pretty sexy. Hope you like it too.
Sorry to anyone who likes/liked the forum, it is no moar. It was too much of a burden, too much to keep up with, and too little actual benefit. Maybe some day in the future I will bring it back, but for now it's gone. Don't fear though, all posts and accounts are intact.
A North Dakota judge issued a ruling in Sierra Corporate Design v. Ritz that has some pretty stunning implications about the use of the "host -l" command when accessing DNS records. In the judgment (which was prepared by the plaintiff's counsel and sent to the judge), the use of the "host -l" command is tantamount to computer hijacking and hacking.
Okay, now this is just absolutely ridiculous. Accessing public information has become a crime? Just because this spam-sending piece of shit was too stupid to cover his ass? Jesus. Probably shouldn't say all that - he might sue me. This is almost as good as the guy sending angry emails to the CentOS developers about hacking his website with their default installation page.
Nope, still no content. None. Not even a little bit. Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Nothing.

Apparently, our corporate overlords are able to determine elections now, in addition to their other nifty powers (wire tapping us without legal repercussions, amassing our financial data and then letting it be stolen, etc). Now, I don't vote, but if I did, I would be outraged!
A teenage boy who hacked into a Polish tram system used it like "a giant train set", causing chaos and derailing four vehicles. The 14-year-old, described by his teachers as a model pupil and an electronics "genius", adapted a television remote control so it could change track points in the city of Lodz. Twelve people were injured in one derailment, and the boy is suspected of having been involved in several similar incidents.
I probably shouldn't laugh at this, but it amazes me that to this day, no one seems to really understand how security works. Security works by fucking around with things until they break, then fixing them, and starting the process over again. The war on terror could be won by a bunch of school children like this one - for either side.
